The Community Economic Development Fund (CEDF) has launched a new website designed to make it easier for Connecticut small business owners to explore financing options, access business resources, and learn how CEDF can help them achieve their goals.
CEDF is a mission-driven community lender that has supported Connecticut small businesses for more than 30 years, particularly those in low- to moderate-income communities that may have difficulty obtaining traditional bank financing. As Connecticut’s leading SBA Microlender, CEDF offers small business loans, lines of credit, and owner-occupied commercial mortgages, along with business coaching and educational opportunities.
“Our goal was to create a website that reflects who CEDF is today as a mission-driven community lender dedicated to helping Connecticut’s small businesses succeed,” said Laura A. Krueger, director of marketing, communications, and public relations at CEDF. “We wanted to make it easier for business owners to explore our affordable financing options and educational opportunities, while better understanding how CEDF can support them in achieving their business goals.”
Web Solutions built a new website featuring a clean, welcoming design and an intuitive navigation that helps visitors easily find information about CEDF's loan products, business advisory services, and educational programs.
“Working with Web Solutions has been a collaborative and positive experience,” said Krueger. “Their team took the time to understand CEDF’s mission, our audiences, and what we wanted to accomplish. They brought creative ideas and technical expertise to the project while remaining responsive to our feedback. What I appreciated most was their willingness to work with us to create a website that not only looks great but also serves a meaningful purpose for the small business community.”
"For CEDF, this launch represents another step in strengthening how we reach and support Connecticut businesses," added Krueger. "Small business owners are incredibly busy, and we want to make it as simple as possible for them to find information, explore their options, and discover resources that can help their businesses grow."
