Digital Marketing Specialist

The digital landscape is ever changing and Web Solutions is looking for a passionate learner and tenacious doer to join its digital marketing team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for completing a wide array of tasks for clients using digital marketing techniques including inbound marketing, organic SEO, content creation, email marketing, PPC advertising, and social media.

Your position from day to day:

  • Maintain responsibility for the majority of digital marketing tasks for a client’s website development project or digital marketing services engagement
  • Gather information and conduct research including keyword research, competitive research, analytics research, etc., and complete related reporting
  • Optimize client websites by writing title and meta information, implementing best practice SEO on-page and ensuring brand messaging consistency
  • Audit websites for SEO health, user experience and conversions and provide recommendations for better optimization
  • Utilize all available digital strategies in support of client marketing services including Pay Per Click advertising, inbound marketing, content marketing, social media, and email marketing

  • Possess a dynamic toolbox of digital marketing techniques and skills including SEO, PPC, social media, content writing, and inbound marketing

  • Are able to gather and interpret data, test campaigns and understand their effectiveness and then translate into actions, improvements and results
  • Communicate and coordinate well with clients and team members to help them understand digital marketing processes and principles; as well as identification of client marketing goals
  • Have a principled approach to doing quality work and paying attention to details



  • Experience with SEO, PPC, keyword research, and analytics (specifically Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of fundamental web design concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, HootSuite and SEM Rush a plus
  • 1-3 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business or related field preferred
