Business Development Manager

Exposure is looking for a consultative sales professional to join its team. The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager role will have a strong background in business development and strategy coupled with the ability to bring together clients’ unique marketing goals through a variety of tailored service offerings in web development, digital marketing, and creative services. In this role, you will develop strong client relationships and impactful marketing campaigns with the support of a collaborative and seasoned team.

This is a full-time, in-person position at our centrally located offices in Wallingford, CT.

Your position from day to day:

  • Manage all aspects of the business development cycle including but not limited to client communications, proposals, estimations, and presentations.
  • Spearhead business development communications, including lead generation, responding to new business leads, proactive outreach, and identifying networking and presentation opportunities.
  • Develop new strategies and support current initiatives for Exposure to increase new client leads and foster relationships with existing clients.
  • Work with team members to facilitate the hand-off of new projects with clear communication of strategic goals as well deepen client engagements with supporting recommendations through implementation.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to provide insights into marketing performance and develop data-driven plans as part of ongoing client engagement and relationship growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, a Master’s degree a plus in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, branding, and/or marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in consultative sales and business development.
  • Solutions-oriented with a proven track record of client satisfaction.
