Compass Academy Network (CAN), an educational nonprofit dedicated to supporting middle school students in underserved rural communities, launched a new website designed to better reflect its mission and programs.
CAN provides free, four-week summer enrichment programs for middle school students in rural areas, with a focus on preventing summer learning loss during a critical stage of academic and social development. The organization also offers paid internship opportunities for college students aspiring to become educators, helping to build a strong network of future teachers and leaders in rural communities.
The previous site made it difficult to add new information, and disorganized content made it hard for site visitors to find what they were looking for.
Web Solutions designed and built a new WordPress website that addresses these challenges with a modern structure, streamlined navigation, and significantly expanded content, making it easier for students, families, educators, and partners to learn about CAN’s work and explore its programs.
The new site features entirely redesigned landing pages, individual curriculum pages, and a dedicated page for each of CAN's eight locations, in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The updated design presents CAN's offering more clearly, while offering a more engaging and accessible user experience.
Web Solutions is also providing ongoing marketing support to help CAN promote its programs.
